Mainland Host/Headquarters Information Form

Your primary mainland host will be Shoreline Yacht Club of Long Beach (SYC). Upon arrival at your berth in Rainbow Harbor, your SYC host will greet you with a smile and a Welcome Package”. We started this reception with the 2005 Transpac Race and found the racers were very appreciative. Our goal is to ensure that your arrival in Long Beach, the official Home Port for Transpac, will be a special and memorable occasion.

Shoreline Yacht Club would like to offer their hospitality to make your stay in Long Beach an enjoyable experience. You and your crew are invited to visit Shoreline Yacht Club throughout your time in Long Beach. In addition to our the normal food service every Friday and Saturday night for dinner and Sunday for brunch, they have added for our Transpac family, a light breakfast and lunch service starting July 7th and continuing through the last start. This will provide your crew an inexpensive, convenient and comfortable place to recharge. SYC is located at 386 Shoreline Drive south just a short walk from Rainbow Harbor.

By popular demand is once again Shoreline yacht Club is arranging for your boat to have a “host family”. These volunteers are available to assist you and your crew while in Long Beach. A host family combined with the welcome package you’ll receive at arrival, will help you find any and all services you may need during your stay. While in Long Beach please feel free to contact the SYC club office at (562) 435-4093 to get the current hours of operation for our bar and dining room. The Web site is located at www.shorelineyachtclub.com, and may be helpful to you also. We are primarily a volunteer based club, and we have extended our normal hours of operation for the month of July to accommodate you.

Below is the Mainland Host/Headquarters Information Form to be completed. Our SYC Host needs this information so we can be prepared for your arrival in Long Beach.
