7/28/2005-- Just to let you know, I have a lot more pictures to post here including more finish photos by Jas Hawkins and some photos provided by Don Grind of Far Far during the race. Now that nearly all the fleet is in (just Dasher and Camile as of when this is written) I will spend some time posting more photos here. Some of you may know it's impossible for one person to get all the finishes by going out on the committee boats, so only a few entrants will be represented here. If someone has finish photos of another yacht they would like to share, they are welcome to e-mail me at: wanderforth@cox.net. (My e-mail account won't take more than about 10 MB per e-mail and chokes when it gets over 100 MB.) In the mean time, I hope you enjoy these pics. To read more about their legendary status check out the Transpac Lists. The previously unidentified legend has been identified as Santana ... once owned by Humphrey Bogart. And, of course, there are photos of some of this year's legendary entrants. page 1 | page 2 | page 3 | page 4 | page 5From Merry Cheers (wife of Sam Heck on Medicine Man): page 1 | page 2 | page 3 | page 4 From Jas Hawkins: I did the best I could to identify the yachts in these photos, but I will freely admit that some of them were near wild guesses. Also I missed a couple, and finally I'm not certain on a few of my identifications, but please enjoy the photos, and if you find any embarrassing errors please let me know. --Lisa page 1 | page 2 | page 3 | page 4 | page 5 | page 6 | page 7 Photos of Friday's start: From Jas Hawkins: page 1 | page 2 | page 3 | page 4 From John Fuller: Photos of Monday's start: From Jas Hawkins: From John Fuller: Here are a few photos taken by Michael Reed of Brown Sugar's Support Crew at the 7/11 Start (All yacht identifications are done by Lisa, so if they're wrong, please feel free to e-mail me.)
