To: All entrants of 2005 Transpacific Yacht Race from Los Angeles to Honolulu, Hawaii Congratulations on your recent entry into the most prestigious yacht race in the world - the 2005 Los Angeles, California to Honolulu, Hawaii Transpacific Yacht Race. On this website is a list of inspectors for your convenience. Inspection of the vessel must be completed by Wednesday, July 6, 2005. This will allow ample time to remedy any discrepancies. If your vessel will not be in the Southern California area prior to the July 6, 2005 date, please contact Roby Bessent, Chief Inspector (562) 301-9736 or pac.mar.sur@att.net at your earliest so that we may set up a date for inspection. We will be more than happy to accommodate you. This is a courtesy inspection and does not relieve the owner/charter of his/her obligation of fulfilling the equipment requirements for a Category I race. Copies of the 2004-05 U.S. Edition of ISAF Special Regulations, governing offshore and oceanic equipment preparation, can be obtained from most marine hardware stores (West Marine, etc.) and from:
