NOTICE OF RACE

THIRD AMENDMENT
TO THE NOTICE OF RACE DATED
SEPTEMBER 9, 2004

Section 1.1 of the NOTICE OF RACE is hereby amended to provide as follows:

1.1 The race is open to monohull and multihull yachts that meet the requirements of the 2004-2005 International Sailing Federation Special Regulations Governing Offshore and Oceanic Racing including US Sailing Prescriptions (2004-2005 ISAF Special Regulations) for Category 1 events.

The following sections are hereby added to the NOTICE OF RACE:

2.10 Irrespective of RRS 55 the Transpac pennant, class flag, and any sanctioned special class flag are allowed and shall be displayed as noted in the Sailing Instruction.

3.4 Irrespective of a specific class rule there may be temporary rigging to support the mast near the spinnaker pole when the spinnaker is set.

12.10 A heavy-weather jib as described in the 2004-2005 ISAF Special Regulations, Section 4.26.4 f) is not required.
