A Traditional Hawaiian Greeting

And

Host/Headquarters Information Form

The experience of your arrival at the dock in the Ala Wai Harbor in Hawaii is different than any other race you may have experienced. We have been practicing for almost 100 years to perfect this reception so your arrival will be a special and memorable occasion.

Upon arrival in "Transpac Row" your host along with family and friends will greet you with the "Aloha Spirit" of a traditional Hawaiian style party with leis, exotic Mai Tai's, food and much more. These greetings go on 24 hours a day so no matter what time you cross the finish line, your party will be waiting.

We have provided you with a Host/Headquarters Information Form to fill out. Our Honolulu Committee needs this information so we can contact your family and friends waiting for your arrival. We will inform your contacts and hosts upon your mandatory check-ins and keep them current on your ETA. This is important for your hosts as well, as they spend days preparing for your arrival and I am sure you want your beverages cold and leis fresh.

The Host/Headquarters Information Form is extremely important. We must have local hotel information, names and phone numbers for your families, etc. After your yacht's arrival in Honolulu, we need the contact person/crew who is responsible for the boat while in Hawaii. We must have these contacts for safety requirements as well.

Race finish line can be viewed at the public look out next to the Diamond Head Lighthouse. The committee will do their best to take your immediate family out on a committee boat to view your finish if prior notice is given and we have the boats to accommodate them.

You must fill out the information on this page and page 9 and return them to the Entry Chairman as soon as possible and no later than May 23, 2003
