2003 Transpac Yacht Charters

This page will provide a listing of yachts that are available for charter for the 2003 Transpacific Yacht Race and skippers that are looking for a suitable yacht to charter for this race from Los Angeles to Honolulu. For the immediate future we will not be providing a WEB form to provide the needed information for these two groups of information. This will be handled manually. To post either a yacht available for charter or an interest in chartering a yacht for this race please email me at walt@hawaii.rr.com. I will collect the necessary information and develop a page to post on the Transpac WEB site.

NOTE: This page is not intended as a resource for general yacht charter posting and is we will only post request that are specific to the 2003 Transpacific Yacht Race. If you are interested in a general charter there are literally thousands of WEB sites available with this information. A quick Google trade; search yielded over 200,000 pages. The casual sailor interested in general yacht charters are encouraged to go this route.

This, like the crew list, is an open listing system where anyone offering a yacht for charter, or anyone desiring to charter a yacht can post their interests. Transpac does not inspect the yachts offered, nor screen the interested parties skill levels and experience, prior to allowing the posting. Parties are advised that a charter of this nature is a complicated endeavor and are advised to make thorough investigations and to take all due precaution.
