TPYC ratings for yachts in the groups below shall be calculated from the 2003 IMS and the Transpac Wind Matrix, except that the ratings of yachts which contain features not rated by the 2003 IMS may be subject to subjective factors The Base Boat Rating shall be Pegasus 77 in her 2002 Pacific Cup configuration with a 450 sq m spinnaker and rated under the 2003 IMS. The 450 sq m spinnaker shall be determined by the spinnaker formula in section 2. This number is 318.482 seconds per mile (Specifically Certificate # 29251 with the this spinnaker: SPL = 10.8, SLU = 29.4, SLE = 27.4, SMG = 18.9, SF = 19.44, SL = 28.6)
