Nick Martin and Crew,

Nice run lads, perhaps below your potential but don't be disappointed. North didn't pay this year, but you made it which many said couldn't be done.

On behalf of the Schock40 Class Association and the owners, I as the former offshore mileage leader congratulate you as the new leaders on a fine first offshore run.

Please hoist several for me, one for the class, and one for each crew of the 9 boats. And, of course enjoy paradise if you can still stand up. We are all very proud of you.

Hey Kevin, congratulations on completing the Transpac! Quite an achievement. We here at MUD followed your progress throughout the race. Pegasus seemed to take a little lower route, but I guess she wasn't flying assyms. Have fun at the parties and we'll see you back here soon (ha, ha).

Well, you did it and from the look of your picture the Weight Watchers MRE's and the many amenities that the Shock 40 has to offer kept you in good spirits. Congratulations, On Point.

Congratulations on a safe finish and on being the first CBTF design ever to complete a Transpac. There will be *many* more! But for now, I guess, you have the world record elapsed time for a CBTF-equipped vessel!

** WAIT TILL NEXT YEAR!! **

Good job-- wish I could have gone along.
Special greetings to Matt Brown.

Best regards,
